Is The Wolf of Wall Street good for learning English?
The Wolf of Wall Street can help advanced learners become more confident with fast and natural English. The vocabulary is not overly technical, though it includes enough variety to make the practice meaningful. Also, crime scenes may bring in words related to investigations, police or legal vocabulary. Following the story requires attention, so language difficulty is not the only challenge here. Some conversations move quickly, so learners may need to listen to certain parts more than once at first. If your English is close to C1/C2, The Wolf of Wall Street can be useful for getting used to faster spoken English.
