The Queen's Gambit works well for learners who already understand English comfortably and want more challenging listening practice. At an intermediate level, the main story should be easy enough to follow. The vocabulary is not overly technical, though it includes enough variety to make the practice meaningful. Lines are generally delivered at a comfortable pace for regular listening practice. If your English is close to B2/C1, The Queen's Gambit can be useful for building vocabulary range.
